Finland ending 75 years of military neutrality to join NATO after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine

Less than three months after Russia invaded Ukraine, neighbor Finland will apply to join the NATO alliance — a stunning reversal of the country’s military neutrality dating back 75 years.
