Flood emergency ‘far from over’ for communities

NSW Emergency Services Minister Steph Cooke says the flood emergency is “far from over” for Sydney communities and the Hunter, Central Coast and mid-north coast areas as the weather event moves north.

She said it’s been a “particularly difficult night” across the Hunter area.

“Residents in Singleton and Muswellbrook have been door-knocked overnight and for many it has been a sleepless night,” Ms Cooke said.
