NATO significantly increases high-alert forces

NATO will significantly increase the number of high-alert forces to over 300,000 to curb the influence of Russia’s aggressive invasion of Ukraine.

The increase in NATO forces is expected to be the biggest overhaul of the alliance’s defences since the Cold War.
