Khloé Kardashian reveals she’s added getting her nails done ‘once a week’ if she’s in a coma into her will

A recent episode of The Kardashians saw Khloé Kardashian discussing her will with family members. 

We know this might be an odd, slash sad, thing to have to think about, but, if you were planning ahead for a time where you were unable to make decisions for yourself, what types of things would crop up? Who would look after your pets, perhaps? Or which family members you would like to have a say in how you are treated? It’s likely a whole range of things pop up. 

And it pays to be prepared, right? Because we never know what life has around the corner (for example, we couldn’t predict that there would be an internet livestream to see who would last the longest: a lettuce or Liz Truss?), which is why we were pretty impressed when, in season two, episode five of Hulu’s The Kardashians, which aired Thursday, Koko, her sister Kylie Jenner, and her mother Kris Jenner spoke about their post-death wishes amid Kris’ hip-replacement surgery. 

However, though we’re all for discussing ‘taboo’ topics and raising awareness around important issues and topics that should be discussed, we weren’t quite expecting what was on Koko’s list of wishes. In a confessional, the mum-of-two elaborated on some of the contents of her will. 

“If I’m in a coma, I’m still getting my nails done once a week, and that’s in my will,” she said. “‘Cause people are gonna visit me.”

Riiight… listen, we’re not ones to judge, and we can’t possibly begin to think like a global megastar, but we can’t say we weren’t surprised to hear it. 

To caveat though, Khloé has made no bones about how pivotal to her persona her nails are. Typically worn extra-long, the Good American founder often uses Instagram stories to show her latest set to her fans, and she even discussed them during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden in 2021. Discussing them with the chat show host, she said that while people are typically “fascinated” by her long nails, they don’t typically inhibit her daily life, from opening bags of chips to changing her daughter’s nappy. Phew. 

Anyway, the point is, she’s not about to let something as trivial as a coma get in the way of her beauty regime, and there’s something we have to respect about that.
