Keke Palmer broke the internet by suiting up as the X-Men heroine Rogue for Halloween.

Over the past few weeks, Keke Palmer has been campaigning for the role of Rogue, one of the most popular members of the X-Men. While the folks at Marvel have yet to reveal their plans for the mutants, Palmer went viral after recreating Rogue’s look for Halloween. See her in costume below.

While doing press rounds for her work in Jordan Peele’s Nope, Keke Palmer was asked if Marvel has approached her to play Rogue in its ever-growing cinematic universe. Unfortunately, Kevin Feige and his team have yet to contact Palmer over a role in the MCU but the actress is open to playing Rogue if and when the opportunity arises.

“That’s confidential, sugar. No, I’m kidding. I don’t know. I just know that the fans, the way that the fans have me booked, honey, online, I got to do a gig every week, “Palmer told ComicBook.com.” So if we’re adding Marvel to it, hey, let’s do it. I’m ready for Rogue.”

Rogue made her live-action debut in 2000’s X-Men. She was played by True Blood star Anna Paquin, who then reprised the role for 2003’s X2 and 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand. Paquin was also supposed to make an appearance in 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, but her chacacter was cut from the theatrical version of the movie before being restored in the “Rogue Cut.”

Keke Palmer wasn’t the only star that made a splash with an X-Men-inspired costume for this year’s Halloween festivites. Kim Kardashian and Javicia Leslie also transformed into classic X-Men characters, suiting up as Mystique and Storm, respectively. You can check them out below.
