Motorcycle Driver Leads Police on Pursuit, Joins Group of Other Motorcyclists
A motorcycle driver is leading police on a pursuit after driving through the Universal City and Hollywood areas.
Officers with the Pasadena Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop at around 9:48 p.m. for a traffic violation and the driver not having a license plate, police said.
The driver was seen riding a dirt bike through Burbank, the Universal Studios lot in Universal City, West Hollywood and Mid City.
While in the West Hollywood area, the driver found a group of motorcycle riders and attempted to blend in.
The driver appeared to be the only motorcyclist with its lights out.
He was seen communicating with the other motorcyclists before stopping for gas at a Shell station on Santa Monica Blvd. and N. Laurel Ave.
The driver filled up on gas and continued on his way, rejoining the other motorcyclists through West Hollywood.
He attempted to go into a parking structure on N. Sycamore Ave. and Romaine St. as he talked to a group of people at the entrance.
The driver made his way through Mid Wilshire until he reached Pan Pacific Park.
He drove through the park before going into a parking structure in The Grove.
Police units were parked outside the parking structure searching for the driver.
The driver was believed to have left The Grove parking lot and made his way to the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood where officers continue to look for him.
